The Foyle MP said:
“The planned building of grade A office space at Ebrington is essential to aid the economic regeneration of Derry and the wider north west.
“A planning application for the office space has been submitted as part of the wider transformation of the Ebrington site.
“This office space will provide excellent accommodation that will help attract new jobs to the city.
“People have been waiting for progress on this site and are anxious to see it move forward as soon as possible.
“I have now written to the permanent secretary of the Department for Infrastructure explaining how vital this project is for the north west and urging that planning permission be granted.
“This state of the art office development would help with the ongoing transformation of the Ebrington site for the benefit of everyone in the north west.”
